Family is flying ORD to HNL. used miles for one flight (70K used - not enough for more) and paid for three (including myself UA G). learned a lesson last time that award fares do not receive PQM so booked my wife with miles. result is 2 different confirmation numbers. tried to combine but United will not do. As UA Gold we board 2nd and get baggage allowances. But now with my wife's ticket the reservation puts her into just a general member status and boarding group 5. I've heard that all in a group can board with the lowest group (2) but UA website does not state this? any advice? Also assume we will go through general security instead of premier - I'm sure tsa will not allow if premier status not indicated on ticket?
