Agreed, the AZ lounge is poorly located and, indeed, gates for flights departing from satellite E seem to have a different arrangement compared to B/C, where instead you would know the gate (subject to several changes, it's FCO after all) 24-hours before the flight. Going back to the E gates, you could still get a rough idea of where your flight will be boarding from, depending on the airline or previous patterns, for instance. Overall, not an ideal arrangement, mostly given the layout of the concourse itself.

it seems lounge staff knows the gates of the E-gate departures. so when I arrived in the casa italia they told me that my flight to LAX will depart from E11 or my flight to CAI will depart from E1.
I was the only guest on Saturday morning between 7:30 and 9:30 in the casa italia lounge.
