I am booked on AA208 ORD-DUB. I'm connecting to JJ 6027 to FRA (operated by Lufthansa). I am 100% ticketed on AA stock.

Questions:
1. What anyone's experience with this type of arrangement, with regards to checking my bag through to the final destination? It is all on one ticket and will American do that?

2. Do I need to retrieve my bag in Dublin at baggage claim, or will it go automatically on to Frankfurt?

I travel frequently, but I only connected outside of the United States one time about 20 years ago.
