LAX-JFK redeye: two seats in C bucket opened up (indicated by expertflyer) about 6 hour prior to departure, called AA immediately, and snatched both upgrade using miles!
First agent couldn't find C bucket (while saying she's been doing this for 10 years, and knows what she's doing), so HUCA, and the second agent is much more pleasant, but upgraded us both using my miles. YYEEAAAAA!!!
