Transfer from MR (Canada) to Aeroplan rejected
Hi,
Yesterday I tried to transfer some Member Rewards to my Aeroplan account, as I have done many times before.
I got a reference number immediately, then a couple hours later and message saying transfer rejected.
I called Amex, they said it went through (it did not) I called aeroplan and they have no record.
The points are now missing altogether. An email to Amex sent and they replied to let them look into it and to allow 24 hours.
Any ideas why this might have happened and can I expect my points returned promptly? I am trying to book something ASAP!
