Recent experiences tell me waitlist clears 1-5 days before the flight as Long as its not full. You need to pick less popular flights to increase chances.

SIN - HND both cleared last week, HND - SIN had 1 seat available, with 2nd seat clearing last week. So about 2 weeks out. Chaser sent for second seat (with 1st seat confirmed as reason).
Thanks - Is there any way to put in chaser if you dont call? Asking this because planning to put in a chaser for a waitlisted SQ flight, but will be on-the-go about 10-14 days out of the desired flight date (as in, traveling across foreign countries with no reliable phone connection)
