Mostly - available card churning options , or heck, even options on another CC which is not churnable, but gives nice bonus miles with sign up. I see Alaska air bonus is gone (for now??)

I can start to pick some of my flights on these airlines - but that won't accumulate the miles quickly enough on its own. I simply don't fly that much - only 5-6 times per year.

I've been with Aeroplan for as long as I can remember, but even 16 months ago getting to HNL was easy on United - now, my options seem to come up rouge "business" - and the charges are killer...

I'm just looking for a rough direction to start looking... getting frustrated with trying to use my 480,000 Aeroplan miles...
Alaska card is not gone, except in Quebec. 25k on signup, and they are the most valuable miles period.

Also, while it lasts, I would collect SPG points because not only do they transfer to most airlines, u can use em at Starwood, or at 1:3 ratio at Marriott.

Indeed, flying United is your best bet to use Aeroplan to get to HNL, but if you want J you'll likely hafta overnight in Cali.

Cheers
