All these problems QR are causing by not giving the front line staff the information they need to do their job! The answers QR are giving posters on this and the Newbie thread are way, way out of date!
Do not blame the CS staff they are only repeating what they are told is the policy. Blame the 'Knowledge is Power' management system and the attitude of top management that 'If it does not fly - Ignore it!'
I am reluctantly reaching the conclusion that CS staff could do a much better, and more satisfying job if they read the Flyertalk QR forum and acted upon what it contained!
It is an indication of the state of communication in QR that a group of interested 'bystanders' know more about the current rules and regulations than the staff who are supposed to implement them! (Rant over!
