You can use the online form - it usually gets to them, or if you want to show them the actual reservation, I recommend using facebook chat. They respond faster there.
I ended up cancelling the reservation and called the hotel and they've refunded me.
It's odd that the payment was processed immediately after I received the LNF denial.
