Personal Plat. Spend for last year was approx. $150K. Have had card for 20+ years and been a member since 1985.. Called the day bill with annual fee was due. CSR transferred me to the "Consulting Department." New CSR immediately offered me 50K MR points immediately with no spend or a $500 credit I took the points since I also have Biz Plat and redeemed them for flights with 50% rebate. No mention of cancelling.
