I ran into this bullshish problem when trying to book the return flight using SkyMiles. Nobody at DL seems to care that this phantom award availability keeps showing up for partners. Apparently if there is 1 seat available it will sometimes show up as available when you try to book 2.....until you get to the end page where you try and buy the ticket with miles.
Your best option will probably be on MU, and getting to DPS shouldn't be a problem. However, you can use CGK, SIN, KUL as backup destinations and use AirAsia for the leg to DPS if you need to.
