I think it may just be the way the seat in J reclines relative to my height. For whatever reason I find the partial recline to be uncomfortable on my back in CX J. I'm 6' and perhaps that is exactly the wrong height to be for that particular seats lumbar position, but it ends up being less comfortable than some other J products I have tried. It could just be a princess and the pea type problem and I am fully aware that CX J is an all around great product and I will likely be flying it from NYC all the way to JNB in a few months, so it's not a deal breaker (because 70k AS miles to do CX f to HKG, stopover and then CX J to JNB is insane in a good way).

In full recline I also don't like having my head super close to the aisle. I am a light sleeper and I find it harder to get a nights rest when I am close to where people are walking. So an enclosed cubicle by the window like JL sky suites is my personal preference.
