I don't know about availability but it could be straightforward with one stop:

Korean JFK-ICN-DPS (I think it's the best option)
China Eastern JFK-PVG-DPS
China Southern JFK-CAN-DPS

or if you're going the other way, KLM all the way or mixed it with Garuda - possible with connection in AMS and SIN/CGK.

getting into SIN or KUL as per pmichelazzo is also good idea. you'll have more options.
