Just after security and on the way down to passport control, if you look up it's hard to avoid the netting overhead. It's common to see this on the windows of some apartments that have children. So, is this same idea; to stop people falling/jumping? It looks bizarre and ugly in what should have been a modern and completely refurbished airport terminal and I wonder if the architects somehow left something really basic and important out of the plans and this is their solution to that mistake.
