My collision insurance when renting cars is provided through one of my credit cards which requires me to "decline all insurance products offered". Because the first Contract ID I was given still listed CDW/LIS as accepted on a printed contract (even though it would not be provided). The issue would be that I believe I would be denied coverage if I were to ever get in an accident by both the rental company (not a business rental) and my insurer (didn't decline rental company insurance)
I was wondering about the same situation and was a bit surprised that if the contract does not ask whether the trip is business or personal and shows the coverage as included it would still be invalid.
