I got mine after about a week. Same thing as you; found a better deal with SQ and canceled. US$100 was taken off. Too bad Eva doesn't have more competitive fares for business class. Was really looking forward to trying their product, especially the champagne! ^_^;

I just applied for a refund from Eva Air as well. I booked the Royal Laurel Class to NYC that cost me almost SGD 8000. I just found out that the SQ flight would cost me only SGD 6470. I submitted the refund request yesterday. I looked at the fare rule. Class D ticket should be able to get a full refund minus the SGD 150 administration charge. The website said "Refund Accepted" after one night. I will update you guys how quickly Eva Air refunds me.
