It is quite annoying because sometimes the queue in the normal line could be veeeery long. There are many events in Geneva during the year and the airport could get very busy.
Travelling weekly to GVA I can confirm you need a sticker on your boarding pass to go through security if you are travelling Y. When in J you should be able to use F/T without having to stop at the check-in counter. Will confirm if something changed this Wednesday!
