Does anyone recall if I can remove this and use my existing Bose cable (single prong)? These actually look like the 15's as oppose to 35's. But provided its removable, I can take my old connector from 15's with single prong and bring along my 35's and that should solve the problem.

Yes, it's still two prongs, AND the cable on the headset cannot be detached. You cannot use your cable with their headset, you need to use both your own headset and cables.
Like QRC, I always bring my own, I use both QC20i and QC35 on board, but sometimes I'd switch to Cathay's Bose before landing if I need to pack my loose items first
