Does anyone recall if I can remove this and use my existing Bose cable (single prong)? These actually look like the 15's as oppose to 35's. But provided its removable, I can take my old connector from 15's with single prong and bring along my 35's and that should solve the problem.

If not, then we are back to my original question!
okay, so back to original question.

I bring my own headphones all the time. I use them in F and have used a splitter.

The problem if the CX Bose headphones are indeed 3 pronged is you cannot split 3 prongs I don't think. At least I don't know how to split the CX headphones....the problem is, for those CX F headphones I guess (I literally have never used them before, I always bring my own) is they need a power source for the noise cancellation. Whereas the Bose headphones you buy on the street are battery powered - either AAA or the in-ear ones, which have the rechargeable battery. Either way, the power source is connected to the earphones. It looks like those CX ones it isn't.

Just buy your own headphones before! Or bring you own that you already have. Presumably if you have a Bose cable you have some Bose 'phones no?
