A contest might seem flawed to a consumer but without any type of incentive things would continue just as they always have. That is the only way for the airline to actually foster results.

One thing that you can all be sure of is that Alaska Airlines has some of the nicest, down to earth airline people out there. I don't say that just because I'm one of them but because I work along side of them every day. Keeping in mind that, I believe that you can count on the Alaska Airlines people to use good common sense while enforcing the current policies. There are a few bad apples in every bunch but I believe that Alaska has a reputation for having "nice people" for good reason.

Missy was right - this information was posted on an employee website, not one for public use. That is the companies fault though, I've sent notes to them to let them know that anything they post there is as good as posting it in a news release, given the number of customers that look there as well. If they were smart they would do exactly what Horizon Airlines does for their employee website, which is to make it accesible by using your employee number and password.
