AA's service varies in different markets, as does AS', but by and large, on a 2hr 15min. flight, you won't be getting a meal or a snack on American Airlines anymore unless you are traveling at a meal time - and many times even then you won't get a meal on American - on a 2hr 15min flight. The times, they are a changing. I don't necessarily think it's for the better, but it just is the reality of travel today.
If your seat did not recline, you recieved poor service and you did not recieve your bag I urge you to contact customer relations. AS takes customer service seriously and will attempt to make good on your disappointing experience. The fact that Alaska Airlines has the best baggage record doesn't mean a thing if we don't deliver yours to you when we should. My apologies for a bad experience. I hope you will try us again.
