I suspect the AC forum is the better place to get help on this, as this is an AC Aeroplan retroactive credit issue, nothing to do with LH.
This is fhe more relevant forum.

Aeroplan has accepted that this is an eligible fare (on the LH flight) for mileage credit.

LH had turned down with the first request that I was flying on eligible fare on mileage credit. So Aeroplan is appealing this decision.

The question is whether I am right as to why LH did tum down the request for mileage credit. The question is what can I do to help Aeroplan be successful with LH with the mileage credit.

The question is how frequently is this problem seen with LH - when a Star Alliance upgrade award (using non M and M miles) on a flight from a paid ticket to a higher cabin class does NOT get mileage credit.

So my questions are specifically related to LH.

PS-I have been debating whether to communicate with the LH lurker or directly to LH through some other mechanism, regarding my predicament.
