380 bus goes to Manukau - do not use this. Skybus goes to Auckland CBD.

Albion Hotel is opposite Sky City on Hobson Street. It is a few blocks (300m) from the Skybus interchange on Queen Street (during working hours the bus to/from airport starts/ends at Airedale Hotel on Queen Street with a free shuttle for the downtown loop). When using the Skybus evening/night/early morning the main bus does the full route (no change to shuttle). As a rule of thumb add 10-15 minutes to the total travel time, if using the shuttle.

Heading from the airport there is a shuttle stop slightly closer to the Albion but given the change from bus to shuttle and the route has to go around the block (with several traffic lights), it is quicker walking during hours when the shuttle operates. Heading to the airport there is also a closer stop on Hobson Street but again hardly worth it and may be quicker walking to the Airdale.

The downtown loop is Airedale Hotel down Queen Street to Britomart (drop-off only on this stretch) and from Britomart back up Hobson Street to Airedale Hotel (pick-up only on this stretch).

Note Hobson Street is on a small ridge whereas Queen Street is in a gully, so there is a short uphill walk from Skybus to hotel.
