Introduction:

Pune (PNQ) – Delhi (DEL) is one of the busiest domestic routes in India and happens to be my commute twice or thrice a month. Every airline in India operates this route.

My usual travels are back in coach; however as these flights bookended an international J class itinerary, I thought I’d treat myself to a business class for domestic legs too.

I booked Vistara’s premium economy (which was cheaper than their economy class tickets at the time of booking) and then submitted an Optiontown upgrade bid. The bid ended up clearing about 72 hours before departure.

For Jet, I booked an economy class ticket in an upgradeable booking class and then applied one of my upgrade vouchers which they hand out to their elites.

I believe this will be the very first trip report of Vistara’s business class on FlyerTalk. My own review of their Premium Economy on the airline’s inaugural flight can be found here.

There aren't many recent reviews of Jet Airways intra-India business class on this forum either, so hopefully this will be helpful.
