Reviews for 3-3-3 in Y are bad for AA. Are the seats as bad in EY?

I am looking at the AUH-IAD route, and its a 15 hour daytime flight...

Asking in another way, are Y seats in 787 any worse than the 3-4-3 in 777 ?

Guessing the ones in 380 would be marginally wider.
