We had a lovely Italian family with two young children (2) who screamed the entire flight-the crew did nothing(1). They did not scream because they were unhappy, they screamed at the top of their voices for any and every reason imaginable. They climbed on the seats, they climbed on the tray tables, they ran up and down the aisles. They unplugged multiple passengers headsets-you get the idea. We complained to the crew and they tried to talk to the passenger (1).

Unfortunately the crew also identified my wife as the complainer and the father decided to defend his pride...Nothing physical but just excuses as to 'what should I do-they are children. You do not understand because you have no children of your own." Of course my child was seated right behind my wife...To put it in perspective, the two parents of this group also climbed on the seats and tray tables. As if this was not enough, my daughter (16) (2) was in a seat that did not have an operational video system. She was moved to a different seat where after some time she decided to do some school work. A very good kid that needed to use her personal light to read as the crew had turned off all the lights during our daytime flight.

Well fast forward another 30 minutes or so and now we had yelling from a new passenger. Another Italian woman who summoned all the J crew to demand that my daughter be removed from her seat. The crime? Using your personal light. She said that my daughter had no right to sit in another seat other than the one originally assigned.

And so the flight went on with yet more altercations with the family of 4. Another Aussie decided to confront the Italian father and explain how his form of parenting sucked! Other people also complained to the crew, but they were feckless and pretended to hide in the galley.

So for the record, the worst flight so far. Also I hate the A359 as it is too quiet (3) to drown out the miserable screaming kids. Rant over.

OK - so I put some red indicators to the OP's post to be able to address his rant...

(1) So, did the flight crew do something or nothing... Your statements are rather contradictory...
(2) How old were the "young children"? Hope they were close to your daughters age, so you can compare apples and oranges...
(3) That's the most ridiculous claim I have ever hear... Hating A350 because it is too quiet? For Gods sake, get real!!!

I am just waiting to see new thread here called, "What sort of compensation can I get for unruly passengers?"
