I need to cancel an award booking. I wasn't aware that delta is so sneaky with canceling awards.

Calling in now it tells me there's a 3+ hour wait to speak to reps. I need to cancel by midnight.

Any suggestions? Do I cancel online with the $150 and then get delta to refund me or stay on hold and beg for a cancelation once it's past midnight?
