Correct. As a Gold or 75K you can upgrade yourself and one companion if traveling on the same reservation. To be upgraded at the time of booking the flight must show U availability (for two people), and you must book the appropriate fare class as show by clicking Gold Upgrade (or 75K if that is the case). This includes your companion who is traveling on a companion coupon.
