Yes, the 380s shlukd be deployed on the Melbourne/Sydney/Auckland route freeing up thr 330s to be used and then freeing up 2-3 737's. It's time for managemebt to think outside the box.
I'm not sure the there is sufficient demand to place a 380 on a direct KUL-AKL service. The Trans Tasman is already pretty competitive so I also doubt KUL-AKL via SYD/MEL/BNE would be a money maker - but who knows.
