I got hit by the 737 shortage today--one of the SIN-KUL rotations cancelled. Also a 4 hour mech on another SIN-KUL departure so not a great day for that route.
But to their credit, they did notify me:
- by two emails at 3AM (approx. 8 hours prior to departure)
- by phone call at 6:30AM
- by text message at 3AM
Seems like MH is doing what they can. However the situation is surely unsatisfactory and perhaps they should really bring back all of their A380s online as suggested by FTers.
