There are not group fares any longer. They will quote you the lowest fare available for the number of people you have. Seat assignments will be normal seats unless there is someone in the group who is elite. You may have to pay a deposit and will likely get some sort of ticketing time limit longer than the normal 24 hours. They will also allow a certain number of name changes or corrections. It helps when you have having issues getting people to commit to the arrangements. Personally, I would book my family, get the best fare and seats and let the other do their own thing.
