I can absolutely agree with you on Point 2 - like bhrubin and others have said, it's why I refuse to stay there.

Look, I understand the frustration(s) many have with the "New Aman" vs the "Old Aman", and how service levels do seem to be falling/regressing to the mean.

And, when I stay at one, I do appreciate the convenience of never having to sign for things, etc etc.

I just truly could not believe that alone would wind someone up so much. The hard product would be a FAR bigger issue for me.

But then again, I've never had the scales *on* my eyes regarding Aman, so have never had to deal with the aftermath of them falling off.

We see eye to eye again.

I love Aman...but I don't worship Aman and/or think it can do no wrong. I also don't think Aman is a static product that is eternal. People here on FT too often deify AZ and the Aman product as something it isn't IMO.

Aman, like every other hotel group, changes. I still love many but not all Aman properties. I still yearn to visit many but not all Aman properties. But I never thought Aman was perfect...just the best at what it did. It now is merely among the best at what it does, depending on the property.

Some FTers are having a tough time dealing with the inevitable changes that always happen to every hotel group.
