I'm well aware of all that. I'm one of the primary contributors to the thread you reference.
The fact is, that I can recall several instances where someone (including me) has posted a report of a problem with a specific property, and the problem has been fixed within 24 hours of the posting.
I'm not talking about the chronic abusers and their deliberate system gaming (e.g., Maui Andaz), but situations where there does seem to have been an honest mistake in how the property is displaying availability.
