"No daytime access" sounds more like a hostel or even a homeless shelter. When I travel, I am mostly out of the room all day. But I'll choose a centrally located hotel in case I need a change of clothes or something. I would not tolerate this without a substantial discount!
Yes, and on rare occasion, I have had to occupy my room during the day because I got sick.
I will stay at a place with no daytime access only if the price is very very low to offset my inconvenience.
On occasion I have booked a room for an entire night because I had a late evening departure or a very early arrival and I wanted access to my room.
