I actually stayed at Soori whilst it was still with Alila. So no idea how the changeover would affect it. At the time I liked it, and when I went (I believe May, 2015), it was a decent choice given it was probably half the price of Kila at the time. But I'd be very hesitant to try it again without knowing which direction the new management is taking it.
