I also understand that if I fly from LAX - AMS-CPT (< 24 hour layover in AMS) and return JNB - CDG - LAX I can actually stay for 3 or 4 days in Paris (1 free stopover allowed as long as the entire trip is on AF and/or KLM. Is this correct ?
I am having lots of difficulty trying to book this on line, the website isn't allowing me to add a leg.
I can do it using google flights but it doesn't price out with the one free stopover on the return.
Is there a charge when booking through a FB agent? Very frustrating using the FB website. I was on hold for 50 minutes when I called and due to an appointment wasn't able to hold any longer.
I appreciate any advice.
