From a pure points/value perspective value, pay the cash. Ignoring the food "discount", paying $203 is a no brainer vs. 50,000 points per night. 50,000 gets you a room anywhere at any price.

But other factors certainly come into play, e.g. will you use the horde before the next round of devaluation. I struggle with this myself at times.
