Frankly I see no reason why this thread should make a reference to the class of travel. One isn't entitled to travelling with more or less of any sort of person if paying more for one's ticket.
If you don't like a little baby crying then deal with it like the rest of us (there are many mitigations some of which have been mentioned above) or earn enough to fly private.
I disagree with the above--there is an expectation that first class is more comfortable and in some cases a more luxurious experience (depending on airline of course) so a screaming child in first class is more upsetting.
Me--I fly in the back of the plane these days so it comes with the territory

and I agree, loud people of all ages should be banned
