Seatback to the upright position...
When traveling long haul in eco, and we all get fed at the same time, I have no issue with putting my seat into the upright position - it makes it easier for me to eat, and is more comfortable for the person behind me.
However, on a recent LCC (2 hr) flight, I was snoozing while reclined, and the person behind me ordered something to eat. Next thing I know, the flight attendant has tapped me on the arm and asked me to put my seat back up. It was more than an "ask" but less than an "order". Since I'd been snoozing, I was a bit dozy and thought we were getting ready to land, so I complied. After a few minutes, I realised what had happened, but was then too annoyed and awake to sleep any more.
I don't know if the passenger behind me requested it, or if the attendant was being proactive, but it seems to me that I was well within my rights to refuse, or put it back into reclined mode once I'd figured out what was going on.
Has this happened to anyone else?
