Is the cash component impacted by the number of guests? My understanding is the cash part is set in stone (with non-US properties using the USD equivalent) but I've come across a property that adds a fair whack onto the cash component when you add a second adult to the reservation.
So is the actual cash component the amount cited in the reservation at the time of booking or can it vary with exchange rate fluctuations? EG, I have a confirmed C&P bookings but the rate looks low for what the exchange rate is now. Will the hotel honour that rate or could it increase to reflect the real exchange rate at the time of the stay?
