Let me ask a question here because I couldn't find the answer elsewhere on the forum.
Is it correct that I can claim the lounge pass for redemption group members only 48 hours ahead of their flight (and not further out from the actual flight date) - even if I know today that I want to use it in August before it expires. I couldn't find that in the T&C of the benefit but that's what the MPC tell me.

This means that if the flight I want my redemption group member to use it on is due to take place after the expiry date for me to claim it from CX then it seems that I cannot use it today to give someone a lounge pass to use on a later flight.
That seems different from the 4 upgrades: as long as I claim them and attach them to a flight before their expiry date, the flight I upgrade can be well after that expiry date (which seems reasonable).
Any thoughts on whether the MPC is right or wrong based on others' past experience?
