I prefer the older cloth seats on the Boeing rather than the new ones. Not only are the new seats hard, but there's no room in the storage bin.
Recently I took 2 flights - the first on a 737-900 with the new seats and another on a 737-800 with the old seats. The 737-800 was far better than the 737-900.

Just my 2c.
