Just curious, how accurate is the seat map at T-24? I'm thinking of sticking with my aisle in 31J as there's no one next to me right now. I'd sacrifice the legroom if it means I get an open seat next to me. Do a lot of people wait to select seats until check in or is the seat assignments normally pretty solid at check in? I get that things can always change but curious what the consensus is.
In the US a domestic flight almost always goes out full but in the 5-6 trips I've had down to Australia I've had pretty good luck on Qantas getting an open seat next to me.
