Unless it's a timeshare, most hotels do not have 2 bedroom suites, though some do. I know that the Hyatt Waikiki has a few true 2 bedroom suites.

In most cases, one bedroom suites can be turned into a 2 bedroom by using the adjoining room.

I think that may be your best bet to get 2 couples into a suite with 2 regular bedrooms.

Oh, and those real 2 bedroom suites might be the Presidential suite at other hotels. In Waikiki, I think the Presidential is 3 bedrooms. In those cases, it is very expensive to book one of those rooms, even if you're splitting it.
