Some insufferable git left some gum under the arm rest on a CE flight I was on a couple of years ago. Not pleasant at the best of times, but this was of a reasonably fresh consistency.

I'm not a violent person, but if it so happened that the individual had his/her lights punched out, I'd not be in a particular hurry to help.
