so I;m asking whether this is FAKE NEWS, and here is evidence from the articles' timelines.

On April 27, René Prefontaine boarded the first of three flights
- so if it took 4 days to get home, that makes it today, Sunday 30th.

So did Traveller get off the airplane and call the CBC immediately + article also says this

"next available flight to Saskatoon wasn't for another couple of days — on Sunday night."

but it is currently Sunday evening PST, and article posted 15 hours ago, so morning on April 30 was when article was posted.

doesn't add up????
