So on my flight from GLA-LHR yesterday morning, enjoying the view through the window when we got through the clouds on not a very full flight. Was sat in row 11 and BOB had been completed at which time I decided to have a browse through the Highlife Shop magazine. Got to the back of the magazine and somebody had decided to stow their chewing gum in the magazine, possibly for a later date, but they would have possibly been disappointed as it was the end of the month and maybe a new set of magazines would have replaced these ones.
All joking aside, why can't certain individuals dispose of chewing gum in an appropriate place? Without wanting to blow things out of proportion, nasty diseases can be spread through thoughtless behaviour this way

. Rant over...
Anyway, a picture of the offending item below. I took the magazine to the crew at the rear galley and said they may want to dispose of it as someone had deposited their chewing gum in it. He thanked me for bringing it to their attention and apologised. Told the purser it wasn't his fault but he apologised once again and gave me some hand wipes.
