Just wanted to piggyback on this thread.

I know you can book LH/LX/SN/OZ last minute. Also that's when the best F availability comes up. But I also have had LOTS of errors when looking last minute for even Y on expertflyer, anyone know why? The error comes up and says something like "this request is too close to the booking window" or something, much like it does when you search way in advance and it says "this is outside of the booking window".

Sidebar...if anyone knows why SN J availability is so bad, I'm all ears. I tried multiple days/multiple cities 6 months out TATL and found nothing. Never looked at them to Africa, but I assume it'd be the same.
