We fly Denver-Des Moines a lot and United rarely has decent fares, and since we never use United miles on domestic flights anyway, I thought a Frontier card bonus might be the way to go. But one of the things about Frontier being a ULCC is that it nickel & dimes left and right. And you need to check, but I bet that using miles doesn't cover all the nickel & diming, probably only the most basic ticket fare before all the zillions of fees start. And how much of that $250 all-in fare is fees in Frontier's case?
