I have actual knowledge of three cases.

In two cases, awards were sold, and the members got what they deserved. In one case, the member swore there has been no redemptions outside family but he is related to one of the former two sellers. I told him to mount a small claims or district court case.

Small Claims Tribunal or District Court of the Hong Kong SAR. I believe the OP is American (pls correct me if I'm mistaken) and for a non-resident to sue in those courts over a ticket will be prohibitively expensive. I believe there will be some zealous FTers who will claim you can sue in US courts but I am always sceptical whether Asia Miles has anything to seize in the US.
